Hoping there are at least a few Canadians present who can help me out. Or anyone that's ever gone abroad for a longer period of time.

I'm considering going back to school for my PhD next year, and the school I'm most strongly considering is in Canada. I've been trying to look up local resources, but all I can find seems to pertain to people who are just starting to transition.

I'm already on testosterone. I've already had top surgery, and am planning on lower surgery in another country over a summer break. My only concern while I'd be living there (as many as 6 years for the PhD program) is continuing my HRT. Would there be a wait to get testosterone in Canada if I'm already on it? Would my American doctor be able to forward my medical information so that I don't have to go through any kind of process? The university has a health center that I plan to contact after I'm admitted, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here and see if anyone has experience navigating international health care.
