If you ask me, SRS does not a woman make. It is all the other things that make a woman - who a person is, how they interact with others, where they fit socially, etc. Some need the surgery to feel 'right'. That's not all of us, though.
I am in no hurry to have SRS. Yet I am regarded by many as a woman, regardless.
This is all about how you feel within your own skin. If you reach a point where the GD begins to fade away ... and you are living for all other purposes in your preferred gender ... then you are winning :~)
