I suffered from anorexia when I was in my 20s. I wonder how my life would have turned out differently if I'd been screened for being transgender then.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

i'd say its connected with or need to look or feel like our preferred gender. in my case, i wanted to be light, whenever i look at my legs, i just wanna role into a ball and cry. i've had to make excuses like "i have runners legs or athetic legs" mind you, i'm not that fast nor am i close to athletic. just the other day my sister asked me if i was purging or starving myself again.
