ERLANGER, Ky. —An Erlanger child assigned to be female at birth, but ever since Kirsten Rumour Lee Setters could speak, he insisted he was a boy.

Don't read this if even accidental parental mis-gendering offends you, but Rumour says he often forgives his parents. Rumour and his parents are to begin transgender therapy next month.


When asked why he was telling his story, "I'll tell you my reason why. So the whole world can know that you should treat people how they should be treated," he said.
