What happens if your a month late with your T shot? My last shot was May 7th and it was too high. My next shot was due on May 17th but I'm out of T and can't pick it up yet so I was unable to get my shot on the 17th. I probably won't be able to get my T for another week...Hopefully it won't be any longer than that. Does the T run out of your body? Do you start to revert back to looking female a little? Does your chest start to grow back? I'm having MAJOR ANXIETY about this and it making Extremely nervous.

You may or may not have a few effects from your t level decreasing.  Your emotions maybe the first your observe.  Didn't say how long ago your started t, the shorter the time on t, the quicker you will see effects.  Depending if your monthly's had stopped or not, you could see breakthrough bleeding.  I hope you get back on t regularly soon and have no bad effects until you do.

It takes a while for your T levels to decrease, but you won't completely revert in a short time. A lot depends on what your level was before you missed your dose and how low it went. As individuals, blood levels change at different rates. There is no need to get upset. The best thing to do is to call your Dr. or endocrinologist and tell them the situation. They are the only ones who can really accurately answer your question.

Sorry for my late response. I'm still have a problem getting my T. I've been on T for a little over 4 years, but my levels have never been right. They were either too high or too low.

My T level was high after my last injection. I'm unable to get in touch with my endo doc b/c she is so busy, I think that's why I'm still unable to get my T... I still need prior Auth with my insurance company from my Endo doctor.

I have had to go without T for a number of weeks at various times to bring my levels back down to a healthy range.  It was not horrible, but I felt pretty weepy and sad with very little energy.  I did not really 'revert', so to speak, on a physically visible level...but I did feel a little off kilter.  Regarding your prescription, is it possible for you to pay for it out of pocket so the insurance authorization is not a factor?  It might be easier and faster to just get a refill order from your doc and bypass the insurance this time.
