so, here's my next post.  i've been taking estrogen and anti-androgens for the past seven months.  and i have lived as a woman during that time also. and men have become very much more sexy.  so-- my question is-- why do men affect me so?
Don't really know what to write here...  So I'll just write a little about myself.  For conciseness, I am a 48 y/o pre-op transsexual who's in a wheelchair.  I'm wheelchair bound due to AVN(avascular necrosis) which took three and a half inches from my right femur and I acquired due to HIV.  I got infected by the first man I was ever with.  So, after spending 40+ years in Texas and getting three felonies, I decided to move to San Francisco.
I got here in 2010 and continued to drug myself until something happened...  I don't remember exactly what happened, but I do know I did something to ease my pain, which didn't help and I ended up in the ER.  After that, mind you I could still walk, barely, I was diagnosed with avascular necrosis.  Immediately I was sent to a hospital in really bad shape.  I was addicted to a copious amount of drugs and weighed less than 90lbs.  I was near death.  I spent two and a half years in hospital, quit drugs, got my own place and am doing quite well.

I wish I knew. Men are starting to have an effect on me as well. Just wait until the non-creepy men start giving you complements. It's very intoxicating. When you find out, let me know :)

I've had a passing attraction to men before but it is much more intense now. Also, attraction to women has dropped to near zero.

Could be hormones, could be placebo, could just be my inner woman getting out of jail. Who knows...

I'm more attracted to men than I used to be, although I'm more specific about what guys I am attracted to than I am with women. Creepy old guys kind make throw up in my mouth a little though. Although I usually prefer being with females emotionally, and would have no problems being a lesbian, especially post-op (although when that happens, a nice cute guy will have more fun with me than he thought humanly possible  >:-) ). I like that guys make me feel more feminine, which is something I feel really need right now. BTW, this is pre-HRT, so I'm not sure how things will be in the near future.

that was a question I had too, since now at my pre-HRT status, I am 99% attracted to females (including trans, who I consider female regardless of Op status)
My curiosity was whether HRT might change my mindset at all towards men. My thinking was..well if it does, that's okay. Even though it might a bit surprising to me.

I think that, if one is young or still developing - or if one's sexual identity is fluid - then hormonal balance can have an effect on sexuality.

Otherwise, our sexuality seems to become established over time.

Interesting thoughts.  I'm bi although mostly attracted to women.  With hormone therapy due to start soon it could be interesting.

I dont know how to explain this...

Prehormones, my attraction to men in nearly low (none for women) most of the time, unless hes tall and charming (handsome not needed). I like a 7/10-8/10 face, when hes too handsome Im like no way.... i know my limits.

Lately I notice I look at his legs/calves/ankles.... and always his hands (bigger than mine)

Plus my height requirement just eliminates 80% of guys.

Im okay with this.... ill date a transman if he was 6'1.

I love/hate my height.... love it generally, hate it as a guy sometimes.... wouldnt change it.

The men i dated are better looking  than Adriana Lima's man... so eh heh heh.
