FFS surgery Thailand: the best option??

I've recently been speaking to my step dad about going with him to Bangkok Thailand to get my FFS surgery
to my surprise he has said he will be more than happy to let me come and help me with everything

But my step dad is a very cautious man and would like me to look up a very reputable surgeon obviously i have heard good stories and bad ones about people getting their FFS done abroad
i have looked at places closer to home but there prices are 12+thousand i know its better to go with quality over price but that's why i wanted to make this post so i could get some more information from people who have had their surgery in Thailand who could recommend me a place with a decent reputation and not so scary price range

I had my SRS in Phuket in Thailand in February. The hospital was very modern and the nurses and doctors were great. A couple of people were having FFS at the same time and seemed very happy with the result.

Before commenting I'll add that I think Dr Chett is a wonderful person and a magician with SRS. I also think his staff are the best. I asked him for an FFS quote as did my partner Bernadette so it's not anything about Chett as a surgeon or a Dr I question. The price he quoted both of us is fairly competitive with Cardenas on all points except forehead work where Chett is really excessively high. In my case for the same procedure on my forehead Chett is 200,000 Baht more expensive and for Bernadette slightly more than 200,000 Baht which is just over US$6000 so i think it really pays to shop around

I haven't seen one really really great FFS result from dr. Chettawut, that doesn't mean there aren't a few, or a lot... based on the results from his website, and those which can be seen either on this or other websites/groups, I can't say I was really impressed with any result (I had a chance to see). I have seen couple really good results from dr. Suporn... and also a couple which were not so great. But then again, even dr. Spiegel has many results where patients end up with androgynous looking face, yet we can't really know for each case, if it is failed attempt at achieving convincing feminine apperance, or it was a patients personal request to have a result exactly like that (in-between).
Based on results available, I would say that Dr. Chettawut and Dr. Suporn are both good options, but I would also suggest looking outside of Thailand for other FFS options.

I have just been browsing about and found a doctor in Thailand called Dr.Pichet his website is really basic and doesnt look to be well made and the prices seem too good to be true im not to sure if i can post the link though, if anyone has been on their or have had their surgery by him could give me some  clarification.


Dr.chettawut was one of my options as i have heard alot about him but as sorchaC has said his prices are quite high

I would search on his name for SRS before you did anything

The best in Thai for FFS are Suporn Chettawut and I have no doubt. Kamol improved, but still does not surprise me.
