Yay seems a good first day for you Grace...
Good that you feel that you will be able to work well with them...

Always the hardest day, the first.

I suppose it's just that at my former workplace when they asked what I was going to do on my "day off" I'd have no hesitation telling them I was having electrolysis... got me quite a lot of sympathy!! lol!

Absolutely - sympathy for electrolysis is indeed sorely needed, and I use the word advisedly  ;D

Glad it went well today.  And I hope you've not got too much electro remaining!

I work as a Mental health Social Worker and I see diverse people everyday. However as I am preparing to transition I have been testing the water so to speak by leaving LGBTQ pamphlets around the building, put up a few posters and no one has said a bad word. Indeed I am hoping when I do take my first steps towards transition that the open mindedness remains.

In terms of outing yourself that is a personal choice and one only you can make. But honestly you are a woman now and what business is it of theirs.

A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting
