Let's see...
I remember the parts of the Bible where Jesus spoke out against divorce and passing judgment, but I don't remember the part where He spoke out against same-sex marriage.
I got married 21 years ago in a theoretical cishet marriage, transitioned and now some so-called Christians think my wife is a sinner for NOT divorcing me? I don't get it. She's going straight to hell no matter what when I was the one who transitioned?
I shall remindest thou...
In short, he didn't, however, people tend to read the "Man shall not lie with man as he lieth with woman" line as gays shouldn't be together but you'll notice it only speaks of "man" not woman and it only talks about sex, not marriage, not kissing, not anything else but sex and ok, maybe having your partner masturbate you... *ahem* Anyway, I've read the bible (old and new testament) 5 times for the old and 4 for the new (King James version, not the new King James version by the way) and besides that 1 single line, only until 1 line and only 1 line in the new testament when someone was speaking who I forget but I don't believe it was Jesus, anyway, only that 1 time was anything else mentioned on gays having sex but, was it really now? Well, in my copy from the US and English Language (exact version said above) it reads a passage talking about how God gave the people of this place up to their lust and such, it mentions giving the women up and says "So that now women doeth that which goeth against nature." and then immediately follows up with men having sex with men but you'll notice, not a once did it single handedly outline it as women with women as she doeth with men as it did in the old testament, nor does it state exactly what
kind of goeth against nature. For example, it's against nature to have sex with children and or animals and while many sadly will say being gay goes against nature I disagree but that's not the point, point is, that's 2, 3 if you count gays there that "goeth against nature" refers too, yet other parts of the world from what a friend of mine has told me their bibles clearly state women with women in the new testament instead of goeth against nature. The lines were altered and changed and really, what translation is perfect anyway? Just look at YT and Google translate as a prime example.

So yup, that's the part they're all referring too. I don't believe your wife as long as a good person would be condemned to hell either. There was that story where God was asked if he'd kill even 1 good person in the city just because he had to kill the rest of the corrupt city and he answered he would not kill that 1 good person, just the rest of the bad people. It goes without saying but whether someone is "saved" or not is not up to humans to say, but God. I believe as long as you're a good person, you're saved, this is further backed up by that and how God said let the person without sin cast the 1st stone.
Now as to this guy saying he'll get a divorce...let him, the foolish fool.
