I was hoping some of you ladies might have some tips about how to control vaginal discharge? At least to the point where I don't have to wear pantie liners almost a year post-op?

I'm not sure what the problem is exactly, whether it's spare mineral oil from dilating, granulation tissue material, etc.? I bathe normally every day, but still enough "comes out" for lack of a better word, to where I can't go without a liner.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I've been told that vaginal discharge comes from decaying dead skin being consumed by bacteria. It's a good thing. It keeps the pH low in there so nasty bacteria can't take hold.

In any case, I'm about a year post-op, and I've pretty much resigned myself to wearing pads every day. Most of my (cisgender) female romantic partners have done the same.

Truth be told, I am THRILLED that I'm moist in there. I'll gladly buy pads every week for the rest of my life.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I was born female and will tell you that's a normal part of womanhood to have to wear panty liners. There would be something wrong with you if you went dry. If its healthy discharge it should be clear or white.

You could have a look here:

And I'd echo that many cis girls experience this as well.

Hi Blush  :)

How often are you dilating? Although I'm not a year post op like you I can say that the only significant discharge I get follows dilation and this seems to be a fairly light shade of yellow. If I shower after dilation and use my douche bottle I don't have anything significant until my next dilation when I tend to fill a pad. My point is if the discharge is following dilation then I'd say it's normal also unless there is odour or an abnormal colour to the discharge then I'd say you are just one of the people that are able to lubricate in there and that is what is coming out but if you're worried maybe ask your surgeon for advice or if they are close ask them to have a look.

Sorry I'm not much assistance but I didn't want you to think nobody was paying attention :)
