Wow, how did I miss this thread??!! I am hoping to have Dr. Crane do my bottom surgery next year in California, and I was worried that he would be in Austin when I wanted him to do my procedure. So the delay in setting up the Austin practice is horrible news for trans guys in general but might be better for me.

I think my insurance company got rid of the lifetime maximum last year...$75,000 sounds like a lot but can get eaten up pretty quickly, especially if you have multiple procedures.
Bimmer, did you pay for hysto out of the $75,000? And are you saying that travel and accommodations are not covered under your insurance?
