Summer

Hi all just wanted to share with you something that happened today which afterwards I felt amazing.
My partner and I were in the food court having lunch next to us was a man with his little girl.
I did see him glance at me once or twice but not in a bad  more a curious way.
Out of nowhere he politely asks me how my transition was going at first I was pleasantly surprised how polite he was and respectful.
I filled him in life changing , amazing , scary at times ups and downs .
He was such a decent guy giving me admiration for my courage to be true to myself .
And the strength I had to make sure I was alive for my family all in all he was a great asset to the trans community .
It amazes me that there seems to be more people who show us support and respect.
Yes of course there are the idiots and when someone gives you ->-bleeped-<- it is well magnified in our minds and makes us feel terrible.
But when you have a episode like mine today it just boosts your confidence.
I walked away in awe I felt amazing I felt beautiful and so happy for my partner that this gentleman gave her a lot of support as well knowing it must be hard at times for her as well.
And he also used correct pro nouns and said I'm looking great .
So to everyone who is feeling down you just never know who u will bump into and boost your confidence and make you feel amazing.
Have a good weekend boys and girls xxoo

Hey Summer, what a wonderfully uplifting story...

I bet you could not have predicted that happening to you today.

Well for being brave and being open about it all to him.
