Just picked up my first Rx for estradiol!

I picked up my prescription a little while ago.  I am really nervous(?) about taking the first dose.  I am not sure if I should take it now or wait til morning.  I know that a few hours would not matter, but I just want to get it in my system as quickly as possible.  Is this normal to want to take it and want to wait at the same time?

I don't know if its normal (what is "normal" anyway?), but I took my first about 8 minutes after I got it....could...not....wait!!!

Some are hesitant, and that's OK too. Gotta do things on your timetable!

Hi Christy it's normal. I considered waiting to the next morning. The reason I did was the my birthday was the next day, but in the end getting started then out weighted waiting. Hugs

On the day I picked up my first prescription, I bought something to drink at the pharmacy, and took my first dose when I got in my car

I sat on mine for a few days and starred at the bottle then took my first pill with a glass of wine and a toast with my wife.  Do what you feel is right for you.

Congratulations!!!

I was nervous as well....

My medication came in the mail and I couldn't wait to open the package. When it was time I stared at a syringe for about an hour before finally having a friend give me my first shot. I wish I had the pills! / Anyway I think your "first" pill, is the first step of your new exciting life changing journey. Good for you!

The estradiol tablets do have a sweet taste to them, hopefully all of that sugar will go straight to our hips

when I get mine, I think go home and a nice lavender bath (my favorite) before I take the "plunge"

My "spice" is chili pepper.

When I started, it was immediate. I had a bottle of water in the car with me and when I picked up the dispensed script I said yay to my new self and took the first dose

I couldn't wait either and it was 'down the hatch' right away.  Then I sort of stood there in a slight daze wondering what was going to happen.  Didn't take long to notice the difference though, after a day or two I felt like I'd come home and I've never looked back since.

Hehe, yay! This is definitely one of those milestones that we remember for a long, long time.

When I got my first Rx in my hands, I remember feeling like Indiana Jones, carting off some precious treasure. I can picture perfectly the Taco Bell (yeah, I know) I went to, ordering two Meximelts and a Dr Pepper, and taking that first dose.
