5 Things we still need to change for transgender equality

http://mashable.com/2015/06/26/transgender-equality/

Mashable/by Pat Cordova-Goff   06/26/2015

"It might seem as though America is on the verge of guaranteeing equality for all queer people. We can easily look to major victories, like Caitlyn Jenner gracing the cover of Vanity Fair, or the overwhelming support for marriage equality, seen in public polling, that makes a favorable Supreme Court ruling feel inevitable."

Just 5? How about medical care, fair housing and employment, social harassment, been seen as eligible romantic partners, being treated fairly by police and law enforcement, not to mention the issue of transgender children and students.

I'm kind of disappointed with Cordova-Goff. I'm not sure she's really qualified to tell the world all about what trans people need. She's kind of young, and I wonder if she's really been exposed to the full diversity of issues and experiences in the transgender community.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?
