...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Didya know there's a wire inside the cable box that can be bent so it doesn't touch the dial, and you can get HBO for FREE!?

No, they can't trace it...

Speaking of bending a wire...

Does anyone remember what the points gap was on your "regular gas only" car? Burping the engine to just the right spot, loosening a screw, gapping the contact, annnnd...damn! The screw fell out! At least it didn't go down the distributor (this time)....

Hi Me, also known as a Well I - A rather insecure and conceited person who constantly brags about themselves and how much better they are than everyone else
The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

If it wasn't for the "Hi Me" or "Well I" folks, we wouldn't have any reality show contestants.

Not really "a word", but how about TV theme songs...? Do TV shows still attract sing-alongs?

QuoteGreen Acres is the place to be.
Farm livin' is the life for me.
Land spreadin' out so far and wide
Keep Manhattan, just give me that countryside.

New York is where I'd rather stay.
I get allergic smelling hay.
I just adore a penthouse view.
Dah-ling I love you but give me Park Avenue.

...The chores.
...The stores.
...Fresh air.
...Times Square

You are my wife.
Good bye, city life.
Green Acres we are there.

Everyone in my grade school peer group could sing this, all it took was for someone to start out with, "Greeeeenacres is the place to be..."

And many others, too.

Fizzy drinks or pop 's

"Let's hitch up the horses and get to the store" (meaning, get in the car...but when said by someone who was 60+, we knew he'd learned that phrase in the days when they had to literally "hitch up the horses")
