'Rev. Dr. D. James Kennedy, who died last week at the age of 76, was known for many accomplishments:
He founded the conservative megachurch, Coral Ridge Ministries, in 1959; he was a founding board member of the Moral Majority, formed by Jerry Falwell in 1979...'

It's probably easier to rally people around hate than around love.  Hitler used hatred of Jews and gays to unify a large segment of his country.

The GayWired article states, "Kennedy's 'truth' included the vilification and demonization of millions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people for more than 30 years."  In my thinking, "demonization" is another way of saying "the devil is in TS's."  Sounds a lot like hate.

Funny, I thought love was what Jesus was supposed to be about.
