I'm starting with a new GP who is known as not only trans friendly but fairly progressive.  I know I'm mentally ready to start HRT, so I want to see if I'm physically ready.  I'm still quite overweight (fine, morbidly obese) but I've lost 40 lbs already and I had a physical a few months back and I'm doing well.  No problems except for low Vitamin D levels.

I guess I'm trying to figure out the right things to ask her.  Does anybody have any advice on things I should discuss with her?

Thanks,
Charlotte

Ms Grace

Just ask if you are fit and healthy enough to start HRT, and if not, what do you need to do to get there? Maybe ask about side effects and likely development. Good luck!
