I'm still on the lowest for now for another month, I'm just wondering if it becomes less efficient after a while.. Or is it okay for some people? It seems to work so I'm not really too upset. The reason this happens is because my endo keeps saying she waiting for my blood work.. I don't know if it arrived or not. They don't tell me, So I keep having to refill and refill. My dose has been  of estradiol and  of spironolactone. Should this be okay or can the body adjust to the dose and become useless?

Mod Edit- No dosages please. TOS 8

It's hard to say, but I will say this I'm even farther along than you are and my Spiro dose is the dose your on so I wouldn't worry about it to much. It really comes down to what the numbers show and the results your getting eventually. 3 months is really a short time. Patience is a must and as always mileage will very. So many members are on low dose for years on here and they are having just fine results too. Good luck and Hugs

I have a lot patience what I don't have is money so I get a little worried when I take pills.. I'm usually against them but I can't with these as they are my last bit of life force.. I was was just hoping they didn't just become placebo pills.. Thanks for the information.. I feel more calm now. Sorry about dosage thing I forget about that rule.. >.<

Your body does adjust to them, but they don't become placebo's. They still do work just the body does get used to them over time. It's always good to ask questions. No worries it happens sometimes which is why the friendly reminder. Hugs

Be patient, it takes time to find the right dose and you only just began hormones. It took me about 8 months before I found the right dose for me. Puberty takes awhile and you will be there before you know it!

I agree with posts above. I will let my Doctor and Blood work decide for me. :)

I had my surgery long before blockers were available and after surgery the doctor quarter my dose. That was still enough to bring additional changes to my body.
