Something just happened that scared the heck out of me.

I was sound a sleep and then received a phone call almost an hour after midnight. When I answered there was no sound at all. So I dialed the number back. All I could here was a male voice that breathing very heavily in the background. I don't know what to think of it, but the more I think about it the more it creeps me out. I have reported it in case something does happen, but beyond that and taking appropriate actions that I can.

Mariah, Here's another hope it's just a random thing. F.W.I.W. I never answer my phone if I don't recognize the number. If it is important the caller will leave a message. Cuts out the creeps and computer sales calls.

its a call from the great beyond mariah! xD jk, but seriously, i dont think i would be able to function after getting some call like that. thus why my phone goes on silent whenever i sleep

Problem with my Cell is unless your entered in the phone book in my cell I have no name info to add. Plus with the work I do and something out of my area code I have to check it out. But next time I'm letting it go to voice mail at that time of night. If it's important they will leave a message. I agree with you though totally though. Thank You.

I hope all is better. I imagine you coud use your phone or an app to block that number from now on. I have started doing that more for ads or companies that should not have my number to begin with.

The odds are it was somebody who was just dialing numbers at random looking for a woman's voice. I always though if that happened to me with a repeat call I should drop into the male voice.

As a woman, you should now consider what you would do should someone attempted a break in to your house. If you are not comfortable with a more effective weapons, at least consider sliding a base ball bat under you bed. In my case, I still have my physical size, I am bigger than most men and I have no problem with fighting dirty.

sorry, that happened, it would definitely freak me out. I used to have a hundred pound German Shepard that stopped me from getting freaked out. He was my bud and would of ripped so called person to tiny little bits of flesh.

I have no doubt that your right that they were doing it for that reason. I don't have that physical size and never really did. It's true I need to get something like a baseball bat around her to protect myself in case someone tries to break int. Due to my disabled brother I won't bring in certain weapons as for fear of what he might do with them. Figthing dirty in my case would be teeth and nails. Thanks Dena. Hugs
