"SALT LAKE CITY — Episcopalians voted overwhelmingly Wednesday to allow religious weddings for same-sex couples, solidifying the church's embrace of gay rights that began more than a decade ago with the pioneering election of the first openly gay bishop."

I went to a transgender friend's Episcopalian church recently. I had never been to an Episcopal church before and I was amazed at their attitude of inclusiveness toward LGBT people.  I normally attend a MCC church and I found striking similarities between the Episcopal service and the MCC service.

Its good to know that if I can't find/attend a MCC service I can go to an Episcopal service instead.

There's a lot of decentralization in the Episcopal church. There are churches, for example, have said that they will not go along with the vote. So do some research about the particular congregation you'd be attending.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?
