Hey all, I'm new so I'm not exactly sure which subforum to put this in sorry haha.

But I just ordered an underworks binder top last night and had a few questions for those who have purchased in the past

1. How well do they work?  / What was your size and did you see a difference

2. For those who live in Australia... Or new Zealand, how long did shipping take to get to you?

Thanks in advance

They work very well in my opinion. I had a relatively small chest and mine made my chest basically completely flat. They are a good brand.

Not to be invasive but what is your definition of relatively small? [emoji14] I'm like a 8E so I'm worried it won't work too well / will give a uniboob.  obviously I'm not expecting total flatness, but I'd hope it'd do a better job than small sportsbras and croptops

I honestly couldn't tell you what my actual "bra size" was, cause I never officially got measured and never wore bras... But I'd guess I was about a 34-36A. Small enough that I was able to bind my chest flat very easily but large enough that I had to get double incision rather than like keyhole or peri.

If you are pretty large chested, like you said I don't think you'll get completely flat. But it will definitely work better than sports bras. I think using different techniques like wearing dark plaid button ups to help hide your chest would help a lot too

Thanks again for the info :) I can't wait until I have enough money to get a beast reductions ( genderfluid) .  But I suppose I'll post a comparison pic after it arrives to this thread.

I'm a 36 B (in the UK) and it works fairly well and makes my chest quite flat, but now I only use my underworks binder to sleep in and use my GC2B binder for day time wear as it's a lot more comfy (and works as well if not better). I also heard it works really well for bigger chested guys. I hope you get your binder soon :)
They/them pronouns preferred.

I had an underworks for a little bit but I didn't feel as flat as I hoped it would make me (I guess I had a large B cup). I then moved on to the mansculpture and that was a tiny bit better. My last binders before my surgery were the GCB2s and honestly I can say these were my favorite ones. They made me look much flatter and they came in a half tank too which I liked but it was kind of annoying to keep pulling down on because it felt like it was riding up my chest. I was able to wear a t-shirt somewhat comfortably (I still continued to put my arms across my chest) without feeling like someone was looking.

I just don't think you're ever going to get super flat with a B size or larger cup size until you get surgery.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

I was a 34C before surgery. I used the Underworks full length tanktop to bind with another tanktop to smooth things out as a middle layer with a t-shirt on top. Never had any issues with it. You may just have to play with how you position yourself. I've found that up and out worked best for me.

Can't answer your shipping question though.

hi
i got two underworks binders and im in new zealand.
The first one took less than a week to arrive, super fast,
the second one took a week and a day,

the postage is really fast, although i know how you might feel, waiting for it to come. I had to go to school for a week with my old, useless one. hunched back, lots of layers. awful.

Hey mycelestialarchangel,

I live on the south coast of New South Wales and it took nine days for my package to arrive. It was shipped on the 30th of March and was received on the 7th of April. Given that stuff I've ordered within the country can take up to a week with regular shipping, nine days is a pretty good time frame for something being shipped from the US.

If you're closer to a large city you might even get it quicker.

As for how well it works, well I'm a larger guy weight wise with a chest size somewhere in-between B and C cup. With the full length binder it doesn't get me as flat as I want, however it flattens me enough that I do get read as male for as long as I keep my mouth shut (pre-T). Compared to the sports bras I wear, it's a little bit on the uncomfortable side, but I get used to it soon enough. The best thing though? My chest doesn't bounce.

Good luck to you and I hope it arrives sooner rather than later.

Awesome! When I ordered, I think I chose standard international shipping. The cardboard envelope it arrived in said express (or first class?) though, so I have no idea. It is packaged discreetly in standard FedEx envelope, with no mention of what it is, if that is a concern. I was expecting to wait a lot longer than I did, and was pleasantly surprised.

Being in Sydney should allow for fairly quick delivery! When I lived in Kellyville, stuff I ordered online would arrive within fortnight, from places that gave estimated shipping times of a month.

From the reviews I've read, Underworks binders are certainly up there in terms of quality and binding strength. Mine is well worth the dollars spent, and I don't regret the purchase.

I'm not sure if this is your first binder, but they can be a bit hard to get into at first. With mine I stepped into it and pulled it up like a pair of trousers. From then on I was able to pull it on over my head. I don't know if the same process works for the tri tops, but for full length binders, I found that the easiest way to get a new one on.

So after much annoyance of the delivery truck coming a day early when I was out shopping with my housemate (first world problems)  and panicking today when I got a notification my parcel had been signed for when redelivered even though my housemate didn't hear a knock (they delivery guy left it in the mailbox for safe keeping so I wouldn't have to travel to Sydney airport to pick it up)

It's here and oh my god, I am over the moon.  I am astounded at how well it works! Here's a little comparaison from wearing one of my more lazy 10F bras under a singlet top, and on the right is my tritop from underworks under the same singlet top.

Haha I attempted but it wouldn't go over my butt
