I'm going away next week for seven nights to Iceland! It seems like a pretty cool place to visit (if you'll pardon the pun) but I'm going to meet new people. Since I'm travelling with friends that I've known for six years it'll be both a daunting thing and an exciting thing. The thing I'm most afraid of when meeting new people is that they'll refer to me as a male. You're probably thinking "but seamus, you're a transman". That is correct but I'm closeted to all but one of the people I'm travelling with. What I'm afraid of is that the people I'm travelling with will make jokes about people misgendering me when in fact they're using the correct pronouns but they just don't know it yet. I was thinking of maybe coming out to them but there are about 25 people and I'm afraid that they won't accept me.
So yeah, sorry for this lil rant I just needed to get something off my chest (once again please pardon the pun).
I hope your days are wonderful and if you're from the US I hope you are surrounded by friends and family today :)

Congratulations :)

The nature is supposed to be very impressive there.

Well.. you could think about it...
do you know where the other people stand in regards to lgbt issues ?
This might give a hint...

And you could use different stages of coming out... like you prefer being perceived as male if someone says something...
you could play it by ear...

or you could plan to yome out, maybe with the help of a few friends...

anyways have a nice time there :)
