I am not new to transitioning, just new to this blog.  I have been at 'it' for the last 20 yrs, I am 57.  But none of it came without a lot of roadblocks and hurdles.  In fact, it has even drawn me into homelessness!  But I don't give up, I ride on. 
I've had my share of short-lived relationships, too.  It's hard to find good partners, and I don't think I'm that choosy.  But what I'm not is wild or careless.  I'm working on a new one that's lasted over 5 yrs already.  I think I found the one!
It's just common sense to take your time, let things go slowly and smoothly, never rush into anything.  Besides, we don't rush getting dressed, do we?
I hope to find time to read a lot of threads here and put in my experiences or two cents as well.
