Just heard yesterday that our son and his soon to be wife are expecting! Exciting times around our home! One of the questions asked of me, a number of times, over the last two days is: 'What do you want to be called?' Good question is my answer at this time. I follow that up with 'Not Grandpa!'. I was right up front with is when I spoke to our son. He is very OK with that. He just said to let them know my choice. As I am not out to the general world, only to close family and friends, I need to walk a fine line. I also need a name that is different than what my wife has chosen. I know this topic has has been discussed somewhere on this site. I look for your experiences and suggestions. The one I remember seeing on a thread a while back is 'Poppy'.
