I was just wondering how everyone felt about this.  I do not normally have much time to myself to do girly things (not out to anyone yet) and can not usually risk being surprised by someone coming home whilst in makeup.  So for the most part I can dress but nothing beyond that.  I have started using a makeup app on my phone to play around with colors and styles but surprisingly have found it eases my tension of not being able to get made up at all.  Has anyone else done this?

I have used MakeupGenius.  Not so much as a crutch but to play around with colors.   I did not like what I saw but then I am not quite where I want to be even in real makeup still see too much of the old me.   But I can see how even this could help to ease the tension that you have and if it works for you the keep up with it until you can take the next step.   As I always say this is a adventure so just take it slow and enjoy the ride.  Nothing wrong with baby steps.   Good luck to you.

Yep or just watching tutorials. I used to play this game where you'd make dresses/apparel also. I loved it since the competition there (voting for best piece) was motivating by itself. I'll see if I can find it back.

It's a bit of a double-edged knife but I like it a lot so...

Over here they have studios where they do full transformations, I considered to make that a holiday/leave town a few days or something but muh... scary  :-X
