My name is Ave, but I also am free with being called by my username. I'm am a twenty-four year old transitioning ftm. I found this site a while ago but have never been comfortable with forums so I didn't join until today. In light of some past issues, I joined to try to find answer and resources for the area I am currently living in. Columbus, Ohio is the main city closest to me, and where I've been seeing a therapist and such for a while now. I was cleared to go on hormones and she and I were working on finding a doctor who would be willing to do hrt with me. Unfortunately, that was almost a year ago. No doctor has accepted me and I've received some very unsavory responses from some of the physicians and endocrinologists I've spoken to. At the beginning of the year I also lost my insurance and have not found another insurer yet due to my income level.
Basically my introduction is also asking if anyone had any resources for the Central Ohio area.
Now onto the nicer stuff. I try to be a gentleman in life. I'm also a nerd. I'm also relatively friendly, if not a bit anxious about things when it comes to online forums. I'm also coming here in the hopes to find answers and maybe a doctor for hrt in the nearby future.
