It happened again tonight. This boggles my mind. Ever since I changed my presentation, I've been getting unsolicited comments and men trying to start conversations with me. Doesn't matter that I'm wearing guy clothes and no makeup. The only other time this happened was when I was in college and in my very feminine fashion prime. But I expected the attention because I knew I looked pretty and stood out like a sore thumb, and wasn't really bothered by it. And it was just stares and catcalls, not men walking up to me!
They're all the same type of men too! Older guys with grey beards who seem like hard rock/metal fans. This would be cool if they didn't just see me as an attractive woman.
Obviously, I'm failing hardcore at passing as male. What are they so attracted to? Are females with mohawkish undercuts sexy? Is my attitude that magnetic now? You don't really have to answer.
I might love this when my voice changes.
