You might try with your own chat program... there are quite a few chat clients... port numbers etc are given on top of the page to the right...

Hi Kaylie,
I came out to my wife just under 12 months ago. One of the most nerve wracking experiences to start with but a massive relief afterwards. I had tried to tell her 20 years ago but she very quickly shut me down before I could go into any detail so have been hiding and only dabbling during that time.
Now that she knows I can have some freedom of expression but at the same time not too much in her face. She felt comfortable to paint my toenails a really nice metallic purple the other night. She did not like me wearing red and so we bought the colour together. We also browsed through the nighty section of the store, whilst I felt comfortable looking through the racks my wife was very much on edge. She still held up some items and said "this is your style" and it really made me feel like she has accepted where I'm heading.
Enjoy the forums as I find it certainly helps me with hearing all of the different experiences everyone is having.
I look forward to hearing yours. XO

Yeah I opened up to my wife here last week and ended up being she loves it she went out the same day and bought me outfits and night clothes. She loves and I know what you mean by nerve wrecking cause it is but the relief aft wards is worth it

Welcome to Susan's, Kaylie.  I came out to my wife about 18 years ago after we had been married for over 25 years.  (I am now in my 70's and have been married for over 45 years.)  I only wish I had come out to her earlier.  She has been very accepting.  I do not go out dressed very often as I do not pass at all, but I dress en femme at home about one day a week.

Not quite coming out out but more Caught in the act.
This happened 2 days ago.
I have become a bit more daring around the house and some time I had to be caught.
My 19 year old son said he was going to bed, so as per normal it was time to throw on my nighty and relax in the lounge.
I was just turning the lights off when he came into the room as he had needed something and it was one of those Oh Crap moments where he said "this is f'ing awkward". He then silently got what he was after and went to his room.
The next afternoon when he surfaced from his room (I think he was hiding from me) he did the lawns. My wife and I suggested we walk down to a local bar and have a drink as I wanted to explain properly who I was.
He is a very mature bloke and he said it doesn't worry him as long as it is not in his face. We also explained that I was not gay just that I liked to wear women's clothing. We didn't inform him of everything as that will slowly come out.
It is now a lot more relaxing at home as I don't have to hide my wearing nighties or my painted toenails.
So this is sort of coming out even though it was not planned, now my wife feels a lot better as she can have some support at home. On a funny side, last night he came stomping slowly up the stairs to the lounge and said "was that enough warning?".
I wish I had had the courage to tell him earlier as his reaction was fantastic.

Sue XO
