I'm new here obviously, but I've been in transition since November 2013 and on hormones since February 2014. I used to live in Las Vegas, NV, but currently I'm on/off homeless but most times live with my parents in a pile of ->-bleeped-<- house that needs condemning bad. I'm in a relationship with a cis woman who accepts me for who I am and I'm unemployed, but trained as a computer tech. I'm a veteran of the US Army, I have severe mental issues that I suffer from and each month I struggle to sell what little I own to keep on hormones.

I struggle to find purpose or will to live, but I'm trying and almost failed on that front a few weeks ago when I went out looking to buy a gun to end myself.

I struggle to find a community that accepts me, but I hope this community will.

I know I'm depressing, but it's a key part of who I am right now as of this introduction, so it's very much relevant. I'm not sure what else to say about myself, but I'm more than willing to answer questions.

Kaity,

So sorry to hear your difficulties. Thank you for the military service.

This is a very welcoming community. I hope you can find some friends and support her.

I think one thing we all share here is a past that has been very dark at times.

I hope you can move past that.

With warm thoughts,

Joanna
