Unless Political debate is covering LGBTQI issues they will be closed.

This site looks after issues to do with trans*.

If you want to debate general politics use the newspapers or political sites.

I will be especially concerned if staff start such debates on this site.

I'm not sure of Trump's true feelings of the LGBT community because the reason he dropped the case against Miss Canada was that he didn't want to fight the law suite that followed, but he did say that as long as the governing laws were followed he had no objections for transgender contestants. I don't know for sure because I really only have faith in the democrats to have any real concern for the LGBT community, of course I could be wrong. I have to do some research on Trumps record.
