When arms will look feminine?

Hello, i was at a concert yesterday and they took some "party pix" there. I found me on one of these photos and was really shocked how my arms look - really like men arms, the muscles, the whole appereance. I never saw it in that way in mirrors and and i try to dont make any photos of my body. But thats terrible ...

I'm 30 month on hormones now - will it go? I mean will my arms look someday in the future like arms of a woman or will they keep masculine? Whats your experience?

Galaxy,

I'd like an answer to that as well. I've done the IPL routine on my arms to get rid of all the masculine hair, still fighting a little bit of that, and the stubborn hairs that keep coming back I shave, but the muscles are a problem so I do hide some of it with 3/4 length sleeves.
But that doesn't answer the question of will they ever look like feminine arms?
Like I said I would love an answer to that too! :icon_question:

No, i dont mean the hair. I mean the muscle and fat structure ... why does it look still masculine after so long time?

Hi, Galaxy,

I don't want to dismiss your concerns when I say it could be the lens and the lighting that suddenly enhanced the appearance of musculature in  your arms. Have you compared this photo to 15 or 20 other ones?

Having said that, at 34 months on hormones, my arms are still more muscular than I would like ideally. They are feminine, but they're the kinds of arms other fit women have to work out a long time to achieve. And I do no upper body workout. I'm a little self-conscious, but if anyone else notices, it's only in a positive way. Do you wonder whether the same might be said of you?

I've considered trying to diet to the point that my muscles atrophy, but that just feels unhealthy to me.

I wish I had more to offer. Accepting my body and the limits of hormones is really hard sometimes. Peace to you.

My arm muscles dropped away noticeably by around 5 years, now can barely feel them (tensed), but unfortunately a little fatty tissue has built up too... Oh I started HRT at ~50. It will vary from person to person.

(un)fortunately my arms (biceps) are already thin (for a guy). I was never able to bulk up so I'm afraid that if I take hormones they'll become even thinner

Long cardio sessions with a low carb diet. When your sweet starts smelling like pee, it is your body actually breaking down muscle for protein for energy.

I've always had "girly man arms" but I still noticed a real difference at the two year mark. It takes time. I think it just depends on how much muscle you had to start with.

Yeah it just takes time, by the three year mark mine had changed considerably vs at about a year. A lot of it is just new fat accumulation so if you're on the thinner side gain weight to help the process of fat redistribution and then they'll definitely round out better.

Tachyon beam operators usually have ultra thin arms  ;D

That is unhealthy, it increases your risk of heart disease.

My arms have always looked feminine except for the arm hair. The reason why, I would avoid doing any activity  that would create arm muscles like the plague. I realised  a long time ago that I am a sissy(transgendered) and never wanted to change, therefore no muscles. The only time I regretted this was when my Mom fell and I could not pick her up.

I never had upper body strength but I did have the muscles that "popped out" pre HRT. Now my arms are nearly completely feminine, to a fault in fact. My tricepts are saggy because I rely on my diet and not enough arm exercise.

When he was ready he showed it to his friends and they said he had created a great statue. And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III

It's from Star Trek (I just threw in operator for fun), and Kelly_1979 has a Tachyon Beam reference under her avatar.
