So finally... after waiting around since back around March 25th, when I had my consultation. Part of this time was filled getting my letters to get insurance to cover it (2 therapists, one of which having a PhD, and my HRT doctor, who also is my PCP), one part was filled with getting genital electrolysis (which I am still getting) and the other with the surgeons office and insurance company negotiating (since Cigna seems to have no In-Network providers for SRS, so they agreed to cover as In-Network).... It was unbelievably hard to wait, I called the surgeon weekly for a while then I laid off and it became monthly the final few times I called.

Yesterday I got an email from the person who coordinates the dates and they had proposed December 31st. I am okay with this date if it is the soonest I can, and will prepare for that to be the date, I am however on a cancellation list and maybe I can get surgery before if I am ready. Anyways.... here's to the longest 5 1/2 months ever :)

Dr.Satterwhite works in Dr.Crane's office and the surgery will be in San Francisco.

congratulations, I had to wait 6 months also, it actually went really fast though with all the things I had to do to get ready.
I will touch a 100 flowers and not pick one.

Satterwhite

I met him at the Philly Trans Health Conference early last month and I was really impressed. He has an excellent track record so far and I'm considering him for mine depending on a few factors.
