Hey guys. So I'm 3 weeks post op, and everything is healing really well. Incisions are great, nipple scabs have fallen off. But I seem to be having issues at the end of the incisions where the drains were removed.

On the right side, it's pretty closed up, however, started "spitting a stitch" a couple days ago.
On the left side, yesterday I noticed there was a thin skin bubble filled with pus, and when I barely touched it the pus came out. It looks better today, but now I'm noticing a sore lump developing in my left armpit which I think is a swollen lymph node. I don't think it's an ingrown hair or pimple because a couple days ago when I noticed the stitch coming out on the right, I also developed a tender lump in my armpit which went away.

I don't want to bother my surgeon with petty stuff, but do you think I should talk to him about this? Or what are your guys' thoughts, did anyone else have issues with the drain holes?

I did have an issue with mine. The night before I was scheduled to get mine out, I decided I was fine to go sleep in bed and just surround myself with pillows. Wrong. Ended up rolling over in the middle of the night on one side, and the tube got shoved in way deeper than it should've been.

The worst pain of the whole procedure and recovery period was taking that side drain out. It has healed noticeably worse than the other side. There is still a patch of skin shaped like the hole that flakes off every few days. I had a few issues with stitches as well, but not near the drain sites. So many gross TMI moments.

I had my roommate take pictures of each of the problem spots from different angles and sent them to one of the nurses at my surgeon's office. She called me back the same day and told me what to do with each of them. That is what I would recommend doing if you're able.

Mine look pretty gross right now (4weeks). They have healed for the most part but one side is puckered and the other side it's a like a bump. I've just been putting my scarguard over it and massaging it. It will go away eventually, just going to take some time. Just put some neosporin and a band aid over it. I kept doing that for 3 weeks with the drain holes.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.
