Well, I'm a weird one really!! I was born and bred in England, I have an English mother, but my dad is from Libya (North Africa, in between Egypt and Tunisia, sadly one of the most volatile places on Earth right now!) So me and my sister took my dad's religion and both our names are Islamic (my real name, not Sophie!!
)
But yeah, as you might be able to tell from my picture, I basically look like a typical white British person, nobody ever guesses that I'm mixed race and Muslim!! To be fair having a muslim name is a really good ice breaker when you look this English so if I transition I probably won't keep Sophie and will probably pick a more ethnic name!!
