Left the house without makeup on and the sky didn't fall.

This morning I had an appointment to get my eyebrows shaped and tidied up a bit and just ran out of time before I could put make up on. I have only left the house without makeup once before and that was a month ago when taking my mom to the ER via ambulance. I had just gotten out of the shower that day when it happened and had just enough to time to get dressed before they arrived. Today the first time going somewhere other than the hospital with out makeup. I should point out even when I had a kidney stone removed that I wore makeup to the hospital and took it off in the privacy of my little room they put me in so leaving the house without makeup is huge for me. I knew because of all the hair removal on my face that I could go without the makeup yet still getting myself to do it was always another story. The fact is I'm always conscious of what facial hair still isn't gone from my face even though most of it is white.

I left the house and went to the salon to get my eyebrows dealt with and then shopped a little at the mall and Target. No took notice of any difference. Even when on my way to the women's restroom at Target as someone was coming out was uneventful. I know a big part of that was my going about like nothing was different with a smile on face as usual and went about my business as others did there's. Moral of the story is we can't always leave the house looking the way we want to. Whether be because of electro and having to grow facial hair out or we just are running late and have to cut corners. I'm glad I was running late frankly because sometimes it's really good to leave with no makeup on and prove I'm still the woman that I am and makeup isn't needed for that to be the case. Hugs

well, even if it did fall it's only gas and water vapor, unless some how the carbon dioxide condensed and the temperature was cold enough  for a big block of frozen CO2 gas to form and hit you on the head, which wouldn't be good.

Ouch! Way to put a downer on her story with that mental image. [emoji14] Anyway, that's great! Every step forward helps, doesn't it?

I don't wear much make up but even so feel a bit nervous when I've left the house without even that much (for electrolysis)... not one person notices anyway! Many women don't use any makeup at all and still look great - nothing wrong with doing your face up but I really like the natural look too.

So totally true. Grace, I actually like the feel of the no makeup. I do enjoy makeup, but I like the fact I have the freedom to go without it now. Electro sessions are the only time I would be nervous now without it especially when growing out the few dark hairs that remain.

Tee hee hee ... I do the same thing nowadays!

Nothing bad has ever happened. In fact going out with my significant shadow seems to magnetize bi-curious guys ...

Life is so wild :~)

For me, during the week, I wear only eye shadow and use an eyebrow pencil. I used to wear foundation and mascara as well. But I wanted to sleep more. During the weekend, I don't wear makeup at all anymore, I don't care if someone looks at me funny because I'm wearing a skirt. I used to be ultra paranoid about wearing makeup but now only wear it all for special occasions which I have yet to attend. Plus, I save money by using less makeup.

I'm still to manly looking to use the ladies restroom, with or without makeup. I'm jealous. Btw, you look great :)
