Ok I just "went" I know thats a bit to much info but, it leads into what im going to say next,

after going I cought myself, and i mean cought myself tucking after going. Note: I wasnt tucked all day, only after "going" did i notice myself tucking, I dont tuck in the house normally, i wear less contoured clothes indoors so I dont have siloette issues. but catching myself tuck without a contiouse effort, has led me to believe that, it has now become a habbit after going.

So I was wondering, If and when i go post op, will this be somthing I go to do after "going" post op?

I'd say it's probably likely, at least for a while. Muscle memory is a pain. I wear glasses, and even when they're off I will still find my hand reaching to adjust them. That's a behavior that's constantly reinforced though, with nothing to reinforce it, I'd say the tucking motions will extinguish fairly quickly.

Thats re asured me a bit, I was a bit worried, the anguish of having to tuck, would be replaced with the anguish of going to tuck with no need.

Never was a problem for me, partly because I predominantly used to go "standing up" before hand, so my whole peeing routine changed. But never felt the reflex to tuck after my surgery.

Just as you had to learn how to tuck I can't see why you won't unlearn once there is nothing to tuck.

I know what you mean though - I find tucking quite comforting (believe it or not) and even do it on days when I'm wearing clothes where it isn't required. I forgot one day when I was wearing a skirt, didn't realise until I was off to work and felt half naked for the whole day.

Something else I wonder if I'm going to miss is shaving my face... again it is a comfort thing. Even though my beard and mo is 95% gone it's that super smoothness from shaving that I really feel comforted by. I expect I won't need to shave at all by the end of the month, and while it will be good to drop it I have a feeling I'm going to miss lathering up and razoring my face!!

I've always used electric shavers. Don't want to get a blade anywhere near my precious skin.
