Hiya girls, I would've posted these pictures in the "Could I pass" thread but it's locked at the moment!! :/

So basically I had an empty house today which gave me a chance to be me I took a few photos, I have a little bit more makeup on, but the wig's the same one. Also I'm wearing a vest and my masculine arms and shoulders are out in full force!!






I was just hoping to get some opinions, how do I look?? What could I do better?? What hair style/colour should I pick for when I get a new wig??

I haven't seen a therapist yet but hopefully in October when I'm back at university
Quite a few stumbling blocks before I can even think of beginning to transition (Family, girlfriend, money, religion, doubt, etc.) but thank you!! In a way I'm kind of excited too!! xx

Well I love a fringe, and I think it works on you. I wouldn't part it or anything like that.

Dark is great. Maybe a bit shorter? Shoulder length-ish. It will give you more freedom and chances to mix things up.

I don't mind the fringe and I think the darker colours help bring out my eyes so I might stick with brunette (I'm quite tempted by blonde though, just because I've never had it!!) I was also thinking about curly or wavy, what do you think?? xx

If you can, get a higher quality synthetic wig, the sort you can wash, condition and use a normal hair straightener to fix up.

My old wig my one of those, but was also a lot like the style you have now. Just not quite as long. It was a straight wig, but I had loads of styling and playing with it :~)

I would quite like to actually, I might wait a little bit longer and save up the money for a more expensive one!! I won't be able to get it until I move back to Uni but when I get it I'll keep you posted!!

Thank you!! I know what you mean about the eye makeup - like a dark purple maybe, but sadly I only had what my mum and sister use!! And it's ok you can post anywhere you want!! xD xx

i think you look pretty cute ! i would say your facial features might benefit more from side swept bangs than straight down bangs. i think the color works though. but working out a "look" takes a lot of time when youve been told yr whole life to dress like a boy (w more a than likely very limited variety of clothing and hair options) so keep on working on it, ive been on hrt for a year and a half and im still working out what i like to wear & how i like to style my hair

I am adding only one thing to the list, keep the smile and use it often. That smile will draw attention away from any flaws  somebody might pick up on. Otherwise you look very good for somebody just starting out and will only get better.
