Oliver A

Hi, I'm Oliver. I recently started to identify myself as androgynous (or androgyne, I'm sorry I don't know the difference), but I found out that there's a lot of things that I still don't know about this label, so I went looking for a place where I could learn more and talk to people who has more experience. This is how I found Susan's Place.
I'm not na expert in english as you probably could tell by now, but I hope I'm able to find myself here, and find some new friends!  :D

Oi, Oliver!

Welcome to Susan's! I'm not Brazilian, but I'm living in Pernambuco for the time being, falando um nordestino arretadissimo ;) Where are you? This is a difficult country to be out of the heteronormativity. If I can be if any help let me know, and feel free to send me a private message once you've gotten to 15 posts.

Hugs!

Oi Brasileira, que ótimo encontrar gente do Brasil por aqui! Fiquei bem menos insegura agora :)

Hey Mariah, thank you very much! I also hope to participate a lot in here.

Promethea, where are you from? Yeah, it's really hard to be out of the heteronormativity, and that's actually one of the reasons that brought me here. I just couldn't find a forum dedicated to brazilian androgynous. It's nice to see someone that understands me, here in nordeste it's ever harder to be diferent (também sou nordestino arretado!)

Thank you all for being so nice to me in my very first day  ;D

Oxente! Tu é nordestino? Que ótimo! Ou nordestina? Nordestine? Como tu prefere que a gente te chame?

Hahaha! I learnt most of my Portuguese here, and I love the way people talk here. I'm kind of a citizen of the world at this point, but I was born in Sweden and raised for the most part in Uruguay. Then I've hopped around a bit in my adult life.

Your English is fine  8)

FWIW I went for most of my life not understanding that my condition (just for ever wanted to be a girl) had a label and was a known condition... I am glad you are finding yourself.

I look forward to seeing you about the forum's

Nordestino do fio do cabelo até a ponta do pé!  ;D
HAHAH pronouns are kind of an issue right now, because I just started accepting myself as an androgyne and still don't know which pronoun fits me better. I really don't pass so people outside of the internet call me "she", but as I slowly start to present myself as Oliver, I think that a "he" is much more appropriate.
Anyway, I always wanted to become a citizen of the world as well, must be really awesome!

Hey, thank you Katrina! I've been practicing a lot these days :)
I got really lucky because I knew about the existence of androgyne people (and felt connected to them) since I was a child. To me they were "boys who look like girls" and "girls who look like boys", because I only started learning more about labels a few years ago. I'm really glad you were able to find yourself and start this process, it's never too late to be happy!

Thank you very much Gennee :)

"He" it is, then!

You don't need much to start traveling. Actually, you mostly need to get rid of stuff!

Hope to see you more around the forums, or if you ever come to the city with the best carnival of Brazil :P
