"The Free Pride event in Glasgow that banned drag queens for being 'offensive' has now admitted their mistake and will now welcome any performers of any gender.
When it was revealed the 'anti-commercialist' alternative to the city's main Pride event would be refusing to book any drag acts as it could be offensive to trans people, it received a huge response on social media."

That's odd to see from Glasgow and Scotland because they've got a big drag culture.

At least they fixed it!

Wow, I was ignorant on this,

I saw the other "headline" that sugested banning drag.
But I assumed the word drag was being used by the ignorant, and that it was being used as an all inclusive trans term.

My sisters respoce to the initial headline was, "seriously? I thought pride was about the right to exspress youraelf in ways that phobics find offensive?" and that "If things that might be found offensive were never allowed at pride events there would never of been a pride event"

Either way, Im glad they changed their mind.
