Freckles are also common, the skin is more sensitive to ultraviolet light with estrogen.

Do a search on melasma.  It is caused by hormone changes.  Sunscreen can help prevent it, if that is what you have.

I gotten a lot of freckles , but I'm unsure if its the hormones or my age or both, even though it stated when I started HRT

I was wondering about all those freckles on my arms!  Haven't had any acne issues thankfully.  I used to have really oily skin, now it's drying out and the acne is going with it!

No acne, but I'm incredibly freckled. That's OK, I find freckles attractive. Besides, I also got wavy hair.

I get dark spots. It's PIH. Happens if your skin is irritated like electrolysis or laser. Takes time to fade. Hydro quinine helps
