I'm wondering if anyone has approached any U.S. Doctors about completing a keyhole or peri procedure in multiple attempts? I've recently seen a guy from Australia who has one of the best results I've EVER seen (as far as scars l, positioning etc) and he told me he was adamant about what he wanted and the surgeon completed his chest after three surgeries.

As I am a either small or full (don't know honestly) B and am insanely neurotic about getting the results I want. Has any of you ever brought this up to any docs?if so what was their response and opinion on it? (Apologies for the long post..  hope you're all having a wonderful day.)
Suffering -- had given her a heart to understand what my heart used to be.

You might have a shot at Dr. Berverly Fischer in Timonium MD working with you on this.  You should remember that each surgery is going to cost you additional money.  I suspect most insurance policies would only pay for one surgery.

Seconding the above recommendation. I went with Dr. Fischer.

I chose my surgeon because she's been doing this a long time and has excellent results with every procedure type. We had a really frank discussion during my consult about what my options were. She was willing to do any procedure I wanted, though she was adamant that it would take multiple revisions to get me something she would be proud of if I went with peri. Had I been open to having it done in multiple steps, she was down to do it.

So no, it's not unheard of. Ultimately I asked her what she thought would give me the best results and she said she was positive she could get it perfect in one go with a DI. That's what I went with. I didn't have a lot of time to work with and I don't care about scarring, so it made the most sense for me. I'd strongly recommend having similar conversations with whoever you're considering. And as far as personal recommendations go, I can't say enough about Dr. Fischer and her staff. Amazing experience.

I went with Fischer as well and I'm very pleased with mine and I went with her recommendation of Double Incision. I have seen someone online get peri/keyhole from her and the results were not very good because they did not want to do D.I. He stated he was  a B cup (which I was also) and he did not want the scars. His chest looked really.. REALLY rough. His chest looked bubbly.. She will give you her opinion and then do whatever you decide.

Her incisions are very thin and clean. The scars will fade over time as long as you take care of them. Like the person mentioned above your insurance will probably only cover one surgery. Plus your going to be waiting a while until you can get your next surgery and then you'll be waiting again to have the next.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

I see, I've also seen Dr Fischer's work and I know what you mean about results from B peri in one go but that's why I'm adament about doing it right for myself. I'm completely fine with the reality of having to wait between procedures and paying for subsequent procedures out of pocket because to me it'd be worth the end result. I've always thought of Dr. Bartlett, Dr Medalie or Dr Fischer as my top go to's, thanks for the replies guys

Of course do whatever makes you happy. If you can afford it and you don't mind the wait periods then more power to ya! I dunno if you've already checked it out but if you go to transbucket they have photos of different procedures that people post there pics to. You can filter out which doctors and all that too. So if you wanted to compare all three of them you can certainly do that.
