Ahem. First off, it is not Bruce, or Bruce/Caitlyn. It is just plain Caitlyn. Like it or not, her name has legally been changed to Caitlyn Jenner. So calling her something different doesn't change the fact that that IS her name. Also, if you met someone named James, and he told you he hated the name James and preferred to be called "Jimmy", would you respond with "Eh.. You were given the name James at birth, I like it better, so *deleted* you, I'm calling you James..." No, no you would not. (I hope..) because someone's name is not your decision.
