Swimsuit

I was just wondering if all swimsuits are hand wash only? I go by what the tag says just so you know. There's a really cute swimsuit I'd like to get, the thing that turned me away months ago was that every single swimsuit (including one piece, bikini etc.) I see in Wal-Mart always says hand wash only and I'm not able to get to another store to see if this is hand wash for all swim suits or just the Wal-Mart I can get to. Incase you can't tell, I HATE having to hand wash anything. lol

Mine from Lululemon is just "Wash with like colors".  Even if something is hand wash only, I often just put it in a laundry bag and it's fine.

If a swimsuit can take pool water chlorine levels or salt water swims in the ocean for days I just expect it to be OK on gentle cycle in the machine.  So far it still fits

There's usually a tag - I follow that pretty much religiously.
At least for the first three to five washes, then it's, eh, whatever!

You can get a product from most swim suit stores that you can use to hand wash you suit. This product helps to counter the effects of the chemicals that are used to clean pools, hot tubs, etc.. I am not there yet. I have not been in a pool for years, even though winter in the sun! my body dysphoria is still strong. Some day.

Chlorine is damaging to the suit. But it's not like it gets dirty so you can just rinse it in the sink and let it air dry after each use.
