"It's been a big year for beauty vlogger and transgender activist Gigi Gorgeous, and she credits that to being true to herself.

"I think this year I was the most honest with myself in comparison to other years," she told us at VidCon 2015. "I was honest with what I wanted to do with my career, and I took on different roles and I did different projects that I wouldn't have necessarily been involved with before. And I think that just worked."
