It's been four years since I've had a haircut and this is totally a dream come true for me!

I hated having short hair all those years stuck in boy mode but my long career in the aviation biz pretty much made it a requirement.

I love how my natural color looks as it grows out, a little reddish, a little blonde and a touch of gray hiding in there 😉

It looks good, Michelle!

I wish I could grow my hair that long.  I haven't cut it in ten years, and it is just barely shoulder length.  It's also pretty thin on top.  I guess I'm going to need a wig.

I love your hair Michelle

I did not realize how much I love my hair long, until I grew it. I grew my hair almost to my bum. That took me a few years to grow. Then it got to heavy and it took ages to blow dry. So I had it cut.. now I maintain my hair length to just below my shoulder blades. I now get my hair trimmed about once every 2 months to maintain my length. I am brunette, recently had to start coloring my hair due to some grey hairs starting to come through. I inherited my premature grey from my mother, so also had to start coloring her hair in her 20's due to grey.

I keep my hair my natural color with blonde streaks.

I lucked out. I was half gray from a slight curly thick auburn when I started and in the past I could not get growth past the lower neck. I am a soft gray, down past the shoulder blades and some regrowth in the widow's peak recession with a golden tan component in the color. My sisters commented positively on the soft appearance of my hair.

Your hair looks beautiful Michelle. You can really see subtle color variations in hair when you grow it long. I was born blonde but it eventually turned brown but there's always a hair or two that won't conform. Also under certain conditions I can almost see a touch of red in my hair from my mother's side. Over 10 years ago I decided to grow my hair out until it reached maximum length and I've kept it there ever since.

Been growing mine out for a bit over 2 years now, I love long. I think just below my shoulder blades is where I want to get to, so maybe another year.
Lost the battle with gray awhile ago so just before telling everyone I was transitioning I colored it back to my original brown. Now I'm trying some new colors. Just had my salon color it a coppery red and I love the way it looks so I'm going to stick with this for awhile. Not sure what I'll try next but between colors, styles and pony tails long hair sure is fun. And it makes me feel a bit younger!

I love your profile pic!!!

My mother is a natural strawberry blonde and must be where I get the hints of red.

When I moved from Seattle to California where we have endless summers my hair really lightened up from all the sun!
Up north sun was sorta rare and my hair was more darker blonde/light reddish brown
