Hi everyone, my name is Jessilynn, I came here to actually gather some valid info. Seems like this site is safe.

Unfortunately the vast majority of websites out there directed towards the transgendered populace is all fetish related.  Since when did my gender dysphoria become a fetish? O_o

Either way, I am quite young, been struggling with my dysphoria since about 8 or 9 years old. And well I am hoping to go through "Gender Corrective" Surgery.

I refuse to call it "Gender Reassignment" because I believe in doing this I am correcting a chromosomal mistake during my conception. Therefore to me... it is "Gender Corrective Steps/ Surgery

Welcome to Susan's Place. I have only been here a little over two months but having completed the transition process 33 years go, I do know something about the subjects discussed here. I have noticed that the information is pretty accurate because people here really want to transition and they want a long and healthy life afterward. In addition, this site is heavily moderated and they are quick to remove offensive and dangerous post. This is important because there are children on this site as young as 13 years of age so both the adults and children need to be protected from harmful information or posts. It is the way it should be but I do admit after being on many sites with little moderation, it was a bit of a surprise to me.
