Our Bigender God

The Huffington Post/by Suzanne Dewitt  Hall  08/28/2015

"My wife and I have been thinking a lot about gender lately.

An article my daughter posted pointed out the layers of complexity of the issue which Caitlyn Jenner brought to America's door step. Women have been working for generations to not be labeled as simply soft, vulnerable, lipstick-slathered corset wearers. For over a century we've been trying to get society to accept that having the equipment necessary to grow babies doesn't mean women should be prevented from voting, or get paid less, or be kept out of scientific circles because of our emotional mushiness and our distracting sexiness"

I tried telling my Dad something (In an attempt to get him to accept me as his daughter) by pointing to the part where it says God made them male AND female, but he just dismissed it by pointing to God made Adam first who was a male. I then tried telling him but you don't know what Adam looked like OR what bits he had down there. (I didn't even mention inside) What does he do? Once again, just dismiss it by saying that isn't the case.  :P Now, I sure as heck didn't even consider God could be trans, bi or anything on the spectrum because God is so much more than that and can't truly be labeled by humans. (Kind of helps we can't see/hear him to do so) There are just too many contradictions and what God himself says that point not toward a trans or bigender God but something greater which probably includes all. The only real problem with this is, the bible once again contradicts itself because it single handled discriminates against Gay (Only men but in many bibles it's both men and women) and cross dressers and while it does show acceptance for trans people, because of the way it does and doesn't point things out, it ultimately discriminates against trans people because it fails to truly, clearly point out trans people are not sinning by being trans. The only thing it does point too is a type of people who were once male, but had their bits cut off and were forced to live as women and Jesus said when asked what would happen to them regarding Heaven, Jesus said there'd be a special place in heaven for them, thus meaning if that type of people are accepted by Jesus and God, then so too are trans people but do people listen? Not people like my Dad whose blinded by false religion and is brain washed. :P Even so, many people WILL listen and we should do our best to point these things out for a better future.
"Denial will get people no where."
"Don't look to the here & now but rather, to the unknown future & hope on that vs. the here & now."

Bigender seems like a highly limiting attribute to apply to the concept of the abrahamic monotheistic god.  I think omnigender would be more fitting

Troubble is,

Religions CHANGE wording to suit the most common interpretation, you know to avoid confusion.

GEN, 1.27 (in my dads bible, "mormon accepted")

In his own image, created he him male, and female created he them.

Oh my raging, I was upset and my dad, was like what did you exspect to find. I said I wasnt exspecting to find more proof that Man chooses their own interpretations and rewords things, to enforce their own opinions onto others.

I did have a bit of a win, when I thought to read the vers beforehand, to posably offer some context.

Gen 1.26

(began, with.)

And god said, let US make man In our image.......

Without looking, my dad was like, how can it be OUR image when he is but one. Thats what It says I told him, I was obviously reading it wrong. He changed his mind after reading it for himself.

So I had my dad on board, A little. I though ok, Lets look to see if GAL 3:28 was any different.
He looked through his book, couldnt find it, my dad had no idea what GAL reffered to, and neither did I.

He started asking where I got my information from, I said it doesnt matter, Ofcourse it matters he said. I said why. Because You cant just go by what you find on the internet. I said, Im not going by what I read ther am I? HE SAID yes you are.

So I pointed AT his bible, I said is that The internet? No. i Then said, am I refferencing that? YES, is it going to be parts of that book I show you, WELL yes. So Im not going by the internet Am I?

Needless to say It took ages for me to find that refference because, I needed to Know that, GAL stood for Galatians. And even then HE had never heard of it. SO after I rffused to give up looking for GALATIANS, He went to calm down, by ordering us both take out, I found it.

And this verse was the same, word for word.

So I read it, and he goes ofcourse their is JEWS, and GREEKS and man and woman. SO you disagree with the book?
It says we are all one,

NONE of that matters dad. Its saying that those kinds of things are irelavant. We are all the same.

Read it for yourself.

I dont know how angry I would OF gotten had that book not been in my dads bible at all.

EDITING AGAIN:
So One of the tings I spoke to my dad about when i Came out was.
If god is the beginging and the and. IS it not possible god be both male and female, both and neither, the one and the many?

Its nice to have read,
god reffer to them selves as "US" and "OUR"
Exspecially since, in pray the energy the help me come out was due to a newly found concept that the soul was gender free. and that the soul was the image of god not the temporal bonds.
