Sorry, I wasn't aware of it.... Isn't THAT ironic. I hope you enjoyed the day.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!

Likewise I knew nothing of this, and it probably shows why so many people are so very ignorant about us, because the only examples they see are the extreems. The models, and the unhappy misfits.

Most of us arent either of those things and so the lens or understanding is somewhat distorted. We need to take courage and be more visible. I try in my small way, but its difficult, and sometime quite depressing because of the level of re-education that you then often end up having to do.

I wasn't aware of this either. Were/are there any events anywhere? Like pride marches but just for us? If not what about arranging some for next year? If there were some, could they be publicised on here a little beforehand?

I found out about it last year when I reported it. I totally forgot about it . I found it again because of the film Stonewall . It was like Stonewall New York , but was three years earlier . The riots there weren't as bad because the city of San Francisco handled it quite differently. They approached it with understanding.

Maybe Emmerich will make a movie about it and replace the trans with something else.

With the help of one other transwoman I've been doing outreach at one WalMart. We both work there. Out and proud, baby!
