Jill, although we know that, the general public doesn't seem to. All they see is the flash and naiveté of Caitlyn Jenner. I gave that statistic to every family member I came out to. It seems to help them understand that this isn't a choice.

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.
