Hello!

I have some questions in regards to people who had an orchi performed. Just recently i had one performed my self. It was about 2 weeks ago. The procedure went fine, i have had no real pain, not even bruised down there.

There is a concern and would really feel more comfortable if others had similar experiences. the scar is basically hidden at the moment as it is being covered by these pockets that are not hot, but sore to touch and very hard. Last night was the first night that one of them seem to deflat and become less painful. Image what a brain looks like. around the incision it looks like that

Also i went back to work after a week off and during the week off the blood was minimal after the first two days. Now once i went back to work i had a lot more blood even though my job is just sitting down at work all day. Now 2 weeks down and still blood/fluid coming out. Talked to the doctor and he said all was normal. Also i have been on strong antibiotics so it does not seem infected also no odor..

Really i just want to know if anyone else has had a similar experience because while the doc says it fine i would feel more comfortable if i was not alone in the experience

Hi,

The strange hard places in the skin took a while to go away fully.  They just kept getting better.  I didn't have any blood though.  However, my surgeon was really good and they did it due to testicular damage so that changes things a little.

Blood after a couple weeks seems a little odd.

To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

Thanks for the reply Jen. Its good to hear that others had hard spots / nodules? In regards to blood the doctor claims it old blood clearing out... I am little more calm about the blood only because after my BA i had blood/brownish discharge like 2-3 after and went in to a panic attack. The doctor checked the incision then and claimed it was pressure and old blood wanting to come out..

I dont know if it is just my body acting weird to dissovleable stitches, because during FFS i had no issues, but not dissovleable stitches. those hard spots hid the scar and scar me, that on top of the blood make go WTF.

I had the hard bits but no bleeding. Then again I had no bleeding after SRS either so maybe I'm just weird  ;D

I did eventually have an infection caused when the scar split from sitting on an exercise bike with a pillow for extra padding. With your job involving sitting it could be worth taking extra care .

Hope the healing is going well though  :)

Sorcha,

You are lucky... i think this is due to the stitching. It has been two weeks since my first post... Last week 3 inches of dissovable stitches naturally came out and then magically a large part of the incision all closed up and no longer looks like a grand canyon and blood stopped. there are still a couple stitches that have not come out... I really wish it would so i can get back to normal. I bet once the remaining stitches dissove everything will go back to normal..

I got this done at the end of july.. its going on 1 month, its kinda annoying...

one interesting note is that neosporin causes allegic reaction... itchy like crazy
